Thunda was a short 5 issue comic made famous by Frazetta art in the first issue. Thun'da was the King of the Congo and Pha was his mate. Published by Magazine Enterprises 1952. Of the 3 Thun'da stories I have read, she appears in two of them. Pha departs somewhat from the typical damsel in distress or dominant female stereotypes. Her and Thun'da are close to equals although in one story she gets captured and rescued. She can hold her own even when her mate is present. Take that Shanna! Sorry, that is all I know..
